Well it's been over a year since I posted anything. To be honest this often got put way down on the list of to-do's for the day. So I am going to try again to at least keep people posted on what's going on in our little part of the world. Here are some things that have happened since I last wrote:
*Lego has finished second grade. He loved his teacher so much he was in tears the last day and didn't want to come home.
*Finally finished painting rooms in the house. Granpa put a new floor in Lego's room and we got some dining room furniture.
*Wheels finished kindergarten and is looking forward to first grade. He also is ready to start sports and is going to do soccer like his big brother.
*I have been volunteering at the school and the library. I am so excited that construction has started on the new library. It looks wonderful.
*My two youngest brothers have graduated high school and are moving on to the adult world (which will never be the same).
*Hubby has been working hard all year long and deserves all the kudos we can give him.
*We have been participating in a new church and love how it feels like a family. The boys have learned so much through the Wednesday night program and we have all made great new friends.
*I have been trying to knit and garden. Neither one is going well so far. Oh well, I am sure if I keep trying something usable will eventually occur.
*We have had extra family living with us. It has been lots of fun and it will be bittersweet to see him head off to college in the fall.
*Hubby and I managed a few dates and discovered we love sushi.
I am sure there is a lot of stuff I am forgetting too. Hopefully from now on I will do a little bit better keeping up.
